| These were very easy to grow. We had a very cold and damp spring this year, and they were a little slow. They are not too exciting visually or on the palate. Basically the archetypal radish you\'d find in a grocery store. But, I would definitely recommend them and grow them again. A few did begin to split at the end when they got too big, but weren\'t woody and had only minor voids. Probably my fault for harvesting too late.\r\n\r\nTry quartering them, lightly salting, and mixing with avocado and lemon juice for a simple and refreshing side salad. |

| Very easy to grow, germinated well. I planted these very late in the spring June 6th and about half produced decent sized radishes the other half did not fill out but you may be able to attribute that to the late season start. I am one of those eat the greens type so i also evaluate the leaves for inclusion in salads. The leaves were attractive in a salad of romaine and swiss chard and added not only a texture contrast (slightly hairy) bu a very pleasant almost peppery flavor. I am going to try a series of these as fall crops and compare and contrast them with some other varieties. |

| For the first time ever, I planted radish. I learned, they like sandy soil, so I added some beach sand. All the seeds made good size radish. I like more mild taste, they were a little bit hot for me. But they were delicious. I started the seeds on May 15. I made 3 batches (My garden is not that big) . My understanding they don't like hot weater. In late July few of them from the last batch stopped growing, texture was woody, not edible.
Definetely so easy to grow and just about 20-23 days! I'll try next year, too. I got the seeds from a store, the brand is Liberty Garden. |
