The Carouby de Maussane Peas are a new variety I\'m trying this year. As I recently transplanted them outside and have not harvested from them yet, I cannot rate the taste just yet, but I will update this later on when that happens. Germination probably took about a week indoors and almost two weeks outdoors, but temperatures were chilly when I did sow them outside. Currently, my transplanted and direct sown carouby de maussane peas are growing well and I look forward to see how they do. |

A very good large, indeterminate snow pea. The blossoms are a lovely pink and the flat pods are absolutely enormous. Yet they stay very tender, longer and in spite of heat and drought, better than any other snow pea we have grown. If they have any flaw it is only that they are a favourite with maurading pests. They don't freeze wonderfully, but they are acceptable frozen and our best frozen snow pea thus far. |
