I like these a bit better than Sugar Baby, our other successful watermelon venture thus far. The colour is lovely, and while there are a fair number of seeds they are pretty much restricted to 4 channels in the melon and are easily removed with a spoon. They grew well with attention to their needs, and the resulting melons kept quite well, and were delicious. |

Our first trial with a 25 foot row of the Siberian this summer found great flavor with a yellow flesh and reasonably low seed concentration. Just the right size for a garden time snack for the wife and I. Compact 4 to 5 foot vines. Matured kind of late, but the summer was cooler than normal, and we direct seeded. Recommend pre-frost start indoors. We will double the crop size next summer. |
