Frost Free Season: 183 - 203 days
Soil Texture: Sand
Garden Size: Large - More than 1,600 square feet (40' x 40')
Sun Exposure: More than 8 hours per day

This plant is vigorous and bullet proof. Nothing seems to bother it. The vine vine is rampant in the extreme. It also volunteers wherever a seed touches the ground. It does need a long season, but seeded in April it cranks out volumes of horned fruit from September to frost. I did not care for it and tried to give it away. I had several bushels of fruit that I tried to give away. Never did find anyone who liked them out of several dozen families.

seeds take while to germinate. need long season to grow but will produce nice fruit. takes while for them to chane to orange. bring fruit inside before frost and it will ripen but very slowly.
