Wayne, New York, United States
Frost Free Season: 163 - 183 days
Soil Texture: Loam
Garden Size: Large - More than 1,600 square feet (40' x 40')
Sun Exposure: 6 to 8 hours per day

I planted double rows that had a 30 trelis running throught the middle of the double rows. The yield was very good...our average worked out to a pint of shelled peas every 2.6 row feet. The yield would have been higher if I had spent a little more time encouraging some of the vines that did not self attach to the trelis, too get started climbing the trellis. We also had alot of cool/moist days here in upstate NY through the month of June. I planted these peas on April 3rd.
