| I have grown these for a number of years. I use them halved, scooped out and stuffed with pasta salad. They are beautiful to look at and very large. Mine produce well, averaging 35 to 40 fruit on a HUGE, tall vine. They also stay on the vine well, even in heavy wind which is amazing when one considers how big they are. If you like a lot of pasta salad in the summer, these will delight you. I also do a hot pasta with sun-dried tomatoes and pesto in these, topped with Mozzarella and run under the broiler. People just love them! |

| These tomatoes are very unique and stunning looking whole or sliced. From my Northern VA garden the taste and yield were only ok so I won't be growing them in 2008. |

| These were lovely pink deeply lobed fruit that had an above average taste. They were pretty large--covering most of a female hand. They did not yield very well which is something I find consistent with large beefsteak type tomatoes. Sure they have about 10-20 large fruits over the season, but that's nothing compared to the 100 fruits of a smaller 2-6 oz variety such as garden peach or green zebra. I would grow one plant or so a season just for taste. |
