Great tasting shelling pea. I had a lot of success with this variety in 2012, with great yields in my small garden. 2013 brought more trouble, I had mixed results with germination and lost a lot of seedlings to critters. The plants that grew produced well though. The plants defitely bore heavier yields with spring crops both years than the fall plantings. I have had mixed results with vine size. I have had them grow as long as 5 feet up a trellis, or as short 2 feet, depending on the year.

Green Arrow peas did not need support as they grow 2-3ft. Good flavor. The clover ground cover worked well.

This variety only produced about 1 plant out of the row we planted compared to the two other varieties which produced much better.

Grew well but not as high a yield as the other 2 varieties grown in the same bed. The pods we did get however were filled with beautiful peas and lots of them.

Vigorous grower. Not that much of a yield. Peas were tasty.

This was a good cooking pea and produced a good full pod. The clover ground cover helped in this warmer than usual season. Started early and got a nice harvest.

I liked this variety. I did have some trouble with pods not being fully pollenated. Taste was nice. Planting a half of a pound of seed gave me enough peas for the year in the freezer.

Excellent English pea for the garden. Easy to grow, yields and taste are very good.

My experience has been the same as the two positive reviews posted previously. In a trial of pea varieties that I conducted in the late 90's, "Green Arrow" was by far the best in terms of yield. The very long pods hold 10 or more fairly large peas, so they add up quickly during shelling. The vines do not need support. There were no disease problems. This is still the standard against which I judge English peas.

This is the best all around English pea that I have grown. Superb flavor, excellent yields. And the long slim pods are easy to shell.

Nice long pods of 8-10 peas each. Not heat tolerant at all. Significant yeild drop off after first harvest, unlike other peas I have. Ok Flavor, gets bitter quickly.

Excellent yield -- large pods with many peas per pod. Most all of peas mature. Very disease tolerant. I've grown this pea for over 25 years in five states with five distinctly different climates (Oregon, Texas, Mississippi, New Hampshire and North Carolina. Have had excellent results in all climates.
