Melons are always a gamble here in Michigan (even southeast MI), but I keep trying. I was impressed with Earlidew, the first honeydew type I've tried to grow. We harvested six softball+ sized melons (that's a bumper crop where melons are concerned for us) with decent flavor. Will try it again this year. |

This is the most consistant performer of the Honeydew types that I have grown. Flavor is not as good as some of the later maturing types but it performs where others will not. |
