Low germination, prone to plant diseases such as spots on the fruits too... Not as productive or disease resistant as many green heirlooms... Vastly inferior to Comprido Verde Claro. Poor taste too.

I think this is one of the better eggplants to grow when all things are considered. If it was a bit more productive I'd have given it a 5 but I just did not get the production out of this I see the others get. Cooler summer though the last two years here and not coincidentally these were the last two summers I grew it.

I live in zone 6b and this eggplant performed admirably on all counts. This is the third year I will be planting it. It was pest and disease free and it produced during one of the most awful summers with extreme temperature fluctuations and extended periods of rainy, cool, cloudy weather. It was delicious and never bitter. Pretty to boot.

I had mixed results with this variety. On one hand, the plant itself was so great-looking, disease-free, pest-free, and had ornamental value, with a very high yield (60+ large eggplants over a long season). But, on the other hand, many of the fruits were horribly scabbed which may have been due to high heat we had this season. However, my other varieties of eggplant didn't exhibit this problem.

Green Goddess performs satisfactorily here. Not as productive as many purple hybrids. Nor do I really care for the taste. But if one likes green eggplant, it is a reasonably good one.

Have had consistantly excellent results with Green Goddess in a hot, humid climate. Production is very heavy, taste is excellent, disease resistance is excellent.
