This spicy basil is very easy to grow in container. I grow Siam Queen every year around tomato plants in 10 gallon containers. Yields are consistently high. We harvest flowers too. Flowers have stronger taste, very good for Asian dishes. Flowers also hold up well when soaked in olive oil.

Bold and spicy basil flavor with an undertone of anise. Good with poultry and pasta, spicy dishes. In flower it makes a handsome border plant and bee destination. Great in pots.

A beautiful and tasty addition. Spicier than Italian basils, this delivers true Thai taste. And if you let it flower, the flowers are small beautiful neon purple domes.
