I planted these in late summer 2011 hoping for a fall crop of mini-broccoli. i direct sowed seeds and they sprouted but did not head up before cold weather set in. This February I went through the garden during an unusual warm spell and saw these had headed up and were beginning to show a little color. I had a suprising late winter harvest of delicious \'broccolini-type\' small heads that were sweet, tender and delicious. I have to assume our unusually warm winter contributed to their survival. I will try again, but will sow earlier in summer for a fall crop. They need more than 55 days in my garden. I am not sure how to rate these.
