Suffolk, New York, United States
Frost Free Season: 183 - 203 days
Soil Texture: Loam
Garden Size: Medium - 400 square feet to 1,600 square feet
Sun Exposure: 6 to 8 hours per day

Planted these in 2014 and 2015. The first time the varmints chewed up the seedlings, and only got a few peas. In 2015, I covered the seedlings with baskets, and got a nice crop of very tasty dark green peas. These were more tolerant of the hot weather in june, compared to others that became hard and inedible in the heat. Also peas don't have a long shelf life. Many did not germinate the 2nd year. Best to use a support at least 4 feet tall. Only available from Henry Field and Gardens Alive.
