Frost Free Season: 123 - 143 days
Soil Texture: Clay
Garden Size: Medium - 400 square feet to 1,600 square feet
Sun Exposure: More than 8 hours per day

The plants were true powerhouses! They put off 3-4 melons per plant in extreme drought. I rarely watered despite the extreme drought and I still had large rambling plants. They tasted wonderful with the surprising orange flesh juxtaposed with an excellent and extremely sweet honeydew taste. My husband craved and at these like chocolate during the season. He couldn't get enough. The melons ripened from a green white to a white to a creamy yellow. My only complaint was that if you didn't notice the creamy yellow soon enough the melon would split as it became overripe. You definitely don't need to leave these guys on the vine an extra day "just in case".
