We did not have luck this year with growing peas. It was late in getting the seed and the weather turned warm shortly after.

Sugar Anns have white and pink blossoms making a pretty addition to the garden. The edible pods were delicious.

A very early variety that got \"hard\" rather quickly. Very sweet though and a nice short/compact plant that many of our volunteers liked.

This variety of pea did not have a great germination rate, but was better than the Green Arrow variety we grew. The taste was very sweet and peas were nice looking.

Volunteers at our garden really like the sweetness of this variety. It is a nice short vine variety and many people noted the variety for future planting in their own gardens.

I really liked the flavor and yield on this early variety. It was a winner in my book and I would definitely plant it again.

Sugar Ann is my favorite dwarf snap pea variety. I find it is the sweetest by far over sugar sprint, cascadia and the other dwarf varities. I usually offer them no support but this year I decided to keep the rows a bit neater and setup one of those two foot white metal fences that join together. The results were outstanding. The peas grabbed the little fence and the rows were neat and intact. I do wish they produced a lttle longer but boy do they ever taste so good off the vine!!

If you want snap peas a couple weeks before sugar snap starts fruiting, this plant's for you. Not a huge producer, though, and peters out well before sugar snap calls it quits. Fruits tend to get tough and leathery later in the season (while sugar snap still fine). Taste not as good as sugar snap. Excellent plant for someone with limited garden space (and no vertical supports. In terms of taste and production, sugar snap beats sugar ann hands down.

This cultivar was not very good for me. Taste and production were way below the climbing Sugar Snap. They also tended to get stringy and fibrous very quickly.

A great tasting sugar snap pea that really does not need support. I planted a new crop in mid August and have had a wonderful fall harvest. They do taste the sweetest when you allow the peas to totally fill out in the pod.
