Here in zone 8a Keystone is much more reliable than CalWonder. I have planted Keystone for four years, and have had heavy yield under adverse conditions (draught, drenching rain, grasshoppers and wind). Six plants provide plenty of peppers for fresh use, cooking, giving to neighbors and freezing. It produces early and long. Nice crisp flesh, and will turn bright red if left on the plant. |

I was looking for Keystone Select, which I couldn't find, so I got Keystone Giant. Sure am glad I did! These peppers are heavy bearers, very tasty and have no problems with the climate here in Central Texas. I'll be planting more of them next year. |

Nice blocky bell on hardy, sturdy plant. Good production and disease resistance. Water regularly. Some sunburn on fruits in high summer heat. |
