I grew these simply because of the name. I got an abundence of rather large fruits. They were true to the description. They tasted great. My family did a head to head comparison with "delicious" which I was also growing. "Delicious" won out, with a little extra tang, but nobody was displeased with the Grandma Freida. Grandma Freida ripened slightly earlier than the delicious. I am growing them again this year, so there you go.
