Have been growing these from seed for a couple of years, and am very happy with them. I\'m not growing them on muck soils - mine is poor and sandy. They require regular watering, but manage to produce good onions from golfball to baseball size. They kept the best of (the few) onions I have grown so far. The flavour is rich and mild for a storage onion. I definitely intend to keep on growing these. I like that they are open pollinated, and will try to save some for seed in the future.
