Description: Asian bitter melon (Momordica charantia). Vines bear 5- to 8-inch, white-green, bumpy fruit that mature to deep orange. Fruit pop open when overripe exposing seeds covered with red, cherry-flavored. Disease- and insect-resistant. Also known as balsam pear.
