Charleston Wakefield was the standard cabbage in my youth. Good boiling cabbage but not as tender as the Copenhagen Market types, In those days cabbage was always boiled with salt pork. It is not so good for slaw or other raw cabbage dishes and has faded in popularity in the past 40 years. It has been difficult to find true seed for the past 20 years.
