Excellent Kale variety. Plants got about 18"-24" tall, with leaves up to 10-12" across. Plants need about 24" of spacing. Leaves are smooth down the middle, and deeply frilled or waved around the edges. Good bluish-green color. I grew several plants in full sun, and sun in a bed that gets full sun in the morning, then dappled sun throughout the day under a Honeylocust. Taste is very good, though I prefer it in a soup or blended into a smoothie as opposed to raw in a salad.

For this year I started a new garden additional to the others. We had some old tree branches, so burned them first, lots of ash, mixed with soil. I think kale like it. They grow like tree!!! I started inside, then transplanted outside, germination rate was %100. 40 plants beyond too much for us. I used baby leaves on the top. But still too much. I think 10 plants more than enough. The first 2 weeks I gave some water, then I didn't do anything. They grew. About taste, I said 4, because I don't know how excellent taste kale can be.
