Wow, these were picture perfect boston lettuce heads that held on for quite a while when we didn't harvest them right away. Planted as transplants with generous spacing.

A hardy, tasty lettuce with large leaves and good yield per plant. Withstood unseasonable cold, heavy rain, and then minor drought early in the 2014 season. DId not bolt until well into July. Will definitely grow again.
