This variety has the best flavor. It does well in heavy soils. If let grow full season the carrots can get huge, up to 2 pounds each. (with thinning). Even the large carrots are good and crisp. Never pithy.

LARGE, wide carrots, very sweet. Need a long time and frequent thinning but the taste is worth the work..
