These are a very thick walled, fairly sweet (but towards the lower end of the 'pepper sweetness' spectrum) uniform variety. Perfect for stuffing and tasty in salads, etc. Each plant did not take up much space and produced an average of about 8 peppers which isn't bad considering they didn't seem to branch out heavily and kept a small footprint.. They took quite long to mature, however. These are a very attractive variety turning a light blood red when ripe. If you want a uniform, thick fleshed pepper with good flavor and don't mind waiting a little bit for it, then these are a good variety to try. Next year, I will stake them because they fell over from the fruit. |
