I really love this tomato!!....it is one of the easiest and most rewarding to grow, and the size and flavor are wonderful. I much perfer this variety to 'Brandywind' in terms of flavor and yeild.

Talk about huge tomatoes! Omar's Lebanese is the heirloom to grow if you want the bragging rights! It's flavor is pretty good -- but not as good as some others. I'd say it's the size of the fruits that really makes this variety stand out. The first year I grew Omar's we had a sudden late freeze. I was very impressed at how the plants came back after being killed to the soil line. Didn' t have any problems with disease with Omar's; however, some of the fruits, while being huge, were misshapen.

These tomatoes are really huge and pretty good in the flavor department. I've grown them for 2 years though and last summer was a little disappointed in their yield. I will give them another try though.
