Frost Free Season: 183 - 203 days
Soil Texture: Sand
Garden Size: Large - More than 1,600 square feet (40' x 40')

In the 40's and 50's lot of folks grew this one as a bragging tomato to take to the stock market as a conversation piece. The crown set will grow very large, up to two lbs. Size rapidly falls off until the last from the vine are relatively small ( 4-6 ounce) fruits. Taste and texture are ,at best, fair.
