This is a nice tomato plant. My seeds were from the Vilmorin seed company. Produced big fruit, can only fit one in my hand at a time. The fruit are heart shaped with an reddish-orange skin and mustard yellow shoulders. I didn\'t expect the yellow shoulders as the photo on the package shows solid color fruit. I was waiting for the yellow to turn to red... and shouldn\'t have. They still have the mustard yellow coloring when fully ripe. They are pretty in appearance and the yellow contrasts nicely with the reddish orange color. I wasted several fruit as I waited too long to harvest, but now I know. When over ripe they are soft and mushy. When nicely ripened, I found the taste pleasing but not totally outstanding. I do appreciate that they are low on seeds and gel and quite fleshy which is nice. While I have had a number of tomatoes off of my plant so far it is nothing extraordinary. I MIGHT plant this again next year. It is just a nice all around tomato (I have eaten a lot of these right off the vine), but I don\'t rank it among my very top favorites.

I'm growing in the last 3 years. It produces a lot more tomatoes than many other varieties I've grown. They are pretty big and have that classic tomato taste. It's very tasty to slice and eat fresh or cooked. Plants also stronger than some other varieties against late blight. I got the seeds from growitalian.com

My earliest tomato in 2007. Ripened at the same time as my neighbors Early Girls (though the taste is much superior to Early Girl). For an heirloom variety, this is a very nice looking tomato … not prone to shoulder cracks like my other heirlooms.
