I got this seed two years ago, but didn't grow it until now. I was unable to get any 15 pounders. An astonishing nine melons were pollinated, but I reluctantly removed four of them long before maturity. This was the first time I grew this type, and I didn't know much about it. It had a moderate to large spread, and vigorous foliage. I think I was picking the melons too soon. By the last one, I finally got a good and ripe one, and it was delicious. It was a fine spicy flavor, and the green flesh was beautiful. |
