Fine. Nice shape. Large core, which I don\'t prefer. |

Great carrot for tough soils. I have grown these in various soils conditions and they have always produced well. The flavor is alright but not very sweet, these can get pretty fibrous if you let them get very old. If you are not dealing with tough to penetrate clay soil, consider growing something better tasting and easier to chew. |

Delicious, very strong and sweet taste; stores well as described. Preformed amazingly well in a very heavy and stony clay soil. Great yield of carrots from seed. Some problems with green shoulder as they grew up and out of the soil (easily remedied by more vigilant re-covering) but no issues with bugs or disease. A favourite in my garden, I plan on trying to over-winter and produce seeds in the future. |
