This is the earliest cucumber that I have grown. It starts producing early in the season and stops producing mid-summer. The taste of the stem end can be quite bitter depending on weather. Good for use as a pickling cuke. A nice salad cucumber if the stem end is discarded. For eating raw I normally prefer this cucumber peeled.
