This variety is typical of most zucchini. It's flavor was good- I pick them small (before they get over 6 inches long). I direct sow the seeds after the soil is warm and mulch the plants with straw or hay to help conserve moisture(I till the mulch in after the growing season to add organic matter to my soil). It was unusually dry here this year so I did irrigate them as well. No disease or insect problems- to increase pollination/production I plant a few annuals around my plants to help attract bees.
