I had so much hope for this one. The description in the catalogs said it was perfect for cool, foggy summers like mine. I always grow stupice and I thought it would be nice to have a bush tomato for container growing. The plant grew as described in the catalogs and had 3 large fruits and a lot of smaller ones. It wasn't any earlier than Stupice and when they ripened they were mealy and bland. I pulled it out and tossed it. I will stick with Stupice only from now on.

Very early plum tomato. Not as many fruits as other plums.Size very variable. To many small tomatoes not worth picking. If earliest plum tomato is what you want.....this is it.Quality just not there for me.

I grew this in 2007 in a "Topsy Turvey". It was a marriage made in heaven. The flavor is not stupendous when compared to an oxheart or beefsteak but excellent for a container plant. At times it looked like a catalogue picture with all the tomatoes on it. They also held well and did not crack much. The plant was a nice dark green and really was just perfect for something beautiful, manageable and productive in a container.
