We first time we planted these was just to give the slugs and snails something to slow them down on their way to the lima beans, but we were pleasantly surprised. They survived the onslaught very well, and produced generous quantities of very tasty beans over a surprisingly long period. Unfortunately they don't seem very disease resistant; anthracnose in particular absolutely did them in. But if you don't have problems with that, these are a fine bean. Bush, but they get fairly large and rangy. A little support is a good idea. Don't think they freeze particularly well.
