We had wonderful germination with the carrots this year. Other than tops sometimes breaking off when pulling, these produced beautiful, straight, bright orange carrots that our youth group loved to eat right out of the ground. Not as large and productive as some varieties, but a reasonably good, medium-sized carrot.

Due to weather conditions, we did not have the best yeild this year. However, the carrots we did harvest were good.

I've grown these for a few years now and they are a reliable producer of mildly sweet, pest-free, nice-sized carrots.

the standard for the nantes variety; not as smooth or as easy to pull as some "improved" hybrids.

Consistent producer of carrots for sand separated cool storage for winter use when harvested in mid-November before ground freezes or becomes snow covered. This or similar cultivar grown in three locations in NYS during last 40 years.
