This squash is great; easy to grow, though vines easily took up 100 sq. ft. The color is a beautiful deep orange; the shape is oblong, not quite round, with bumpy ridges -- very striking. I only got two squash out of four plants before the frost, but the two I got were huge -- 25lbs each. If I had planted earlier in the summer, I might have gotten more. Nevertheless, the flesh is quite tasty;it makes great cakes and soups ...
