| Okay, let's face it, for most of us 2009 was just not a good year to be a tomato. While I did not get the yields touted by several catalogs, Manyel did quite respectably. But the flavor!! This is why it is going to get another chance in the hope that this season is better. NOTE: This is one of the varieties you need to pick right BEFORE they get dead ripe. When they are still firm with a slight crunch is when you want them. Then they are a WOW moment with the slight citrusy quality shining through. Left until they are softer they will lose that balanced tang and get much less impressive. |

| 7-10 oz round, yellow fruit on moderate indeterminate RL plants. Taste was very good for a yellow fruit. One of the better yellows I've tried. I wouldn't call it "lemony" though. Fruit was very juicy. |
