Nice high producers for me. From four plants yield was 8-10 per day at peak of season. Nice size for stuffing, frying, or just cooking.
The kids really loved picking them. Plants were bigger than I expected, so I ended up with some unintended shading. I was not able to trellis them as I had intended. I'll try again this year. |

This was a failure here on first try. Slow to emerge, lacked vigor, and yield was almost non-existent. Second trial, different seed source, the following year, it did ok. Yields were competitive with Eight Ball, but less than Cue Ball. Early fruits were quite attractive, but later fruits became dark green instead of yellow as the temperature approached 100 degrees. |
