I'd give this tomato 5 stars just on its resistance to Tomato Spotted Wilt virus. There were several years in a row that TSW wiped out my tomato garden. Now that the *spit!* thrips are under better control, it's not as much of a problem, but having a few Amelia tomatoes makes sure I have a crop. They're not as tasty as many of the heirloom tomatoes that I love, but they have good flavor and produce very well.

This Harris Moran introduction is one of the few cultivars resistant to Tomato Spotted wilt virus. It is smaller than BHN 444, the first TSWV resistant cultivar but has better flavor and texture. If diseases especially spotted wilt is a problem, Amelia or Top Gun would be my recommendation. They are pretty bullet proof, and while not the best eating tomatoes, they are as good as most commercial fresh market long shelf life cultivars.
