This was beyond my expectations. I bought this variety as an afterthought, just to try it. Plant was very vigourous, and is really loaded with tomatoes. These are much larger than described, about 4 inches across and 2 inches deep. The shape is very heavily lobed, and the core is very very thick, so there is waste in cutting these for the table, but flavor is excellent, sort of a mix of Nebraska Wedding and Super Fantastic. The color is more an orange red than red. The foliage is abundant and pretty dense. Planted in a deep loam. Seem to tolerate hot weather well. These had lots of fruit throughout the season, and only a slight slowdown in peak heat. I had huge crop by end of season and the vines were enourmous, with a massive root system. The fruit size did drop a little after hotter weather set in. Still, late summer fruit were pretty decent size. In the 2010 season, these produced smaller fruit, and were not as productive. The plants were more crowded this year, which was likely responsible for the lower quality. I think this variety requires more space than average.
