This is an incredible tomato where it will grow, but it is quite finicky. In the New River Valley of Virginia, It grew huge vines, loaded with large pink beefsteak type tomatoes. Unlike most of the large beefsteaks, the tomatoes are pretty much free of catfacing. I have tried it here in Georgia, with very limited results, it can't take the heat and disease here. I also grew it in the fifties in the piedmont area of Virginia with moderate success.
