This is the ideal home gardener peanut. Medium size peanut, but packs more to the shell than most. Flavor is good, but not as good as the Virginia or Spanish types. Its greatest asset is its ability to produce under a wide variety of conditions. It is earlier than Virginia or runner types ( widely grown in Georgia for boiled peanuts and for the peanut butter industry) but slightly later than the Spanish types.
