Since this was a variety from Taiwan, I had high hopes that it would prove to be fairly heat resistant. Alas, no such luck. It was as quick as anything to turn bitter when the weather turned hot. However, it was a robust, healthy grower with interestingly shaped leaves that tasted fine, as long as the weather was mild.
