1st yr. (2010 season) growing 8 plants of this one. Solid performer. Held up better than any of my heirloom tomatoes to blights/bugs. Matures mid season and produced to within two weeks of first frost. Nice flavor, almost as good as the best heirlooms and better than any hybrid I've grown except Beefmaster, IMO. Absolutely blemish free, and nicely shaped 6 - 8 oz pink fruit. High production. Might be good choice for upscale market garden. Expensive seed. Purchased seed through Kitazawaseed.com; good source for oriental type vegs.

It's perfect. Truly perfect. This is one of my two favorite tomatoes and one I come back to over and over. It's easy to grow, it's prolific, the fruit is perfectly sized and blemish free, and mostly, it tastes delicious. Very complex tomato taste with a great acid/sweetness profile. It may lean to slightly sweet, as I think my taste buds prefer that to very acidic, but it seems exceptionally well-balanced. I've never had pests or problems with it.

This variety was easy to sprout. It quickly grew to more than 6 feet tall. It flowered early and bore large quantities of medium-sized fruit over an extended season, even under the very stressful growing conditions that we had last summer. Similar to Momotaro in its vigor and disease-resistance in our local growing conditions. The deep pink fruit had a rich taste. My chief complaint is that the seeds are so expensive.
