About 12-14" tall, very bushy, with ruffled, serrated leaves, this basil has a great flavor - comparable to genovese when compared side by side, which no other basil I have tried so far has compared to. It also did not bolt until late summer - in Sept. when the days were getting longer. It grew very well in windowsill pots, even in the shade, where other basils would get leggy and bolt almost immediately. Even as small as it is, it is very productive, as the plants are very bushy, with many leaves, which grow back very quickly as it is harvested. I also have it growing indoors this year, which other basils have not been able to do w/o getting very leggy, with few leaves. It began to bolt at about 8" under 80w flourescent, but when put under a 250w MH light it quickly began growing and stopped producing flowers. My entire plant room smells like basil! My basil of choice now for Italian, along with Siam Queen for Thai. basil.
