Beans are very large and have an excellent fresh-shell-bean taste. Also good as a dried bean (though it has a very different flavor). Germination was poor in my garden; but production from each vine was very high. Beans are ready to pick when the pod starts changing color from green to mottled tan. The shelled beans have a beautiful cream & red marbling (which turns to green when cooked).
