Overall, I was very happy with the one plant I experimented with last year - the taste is lovely though it isn't typically basily -- less anise and definitely some lime to the flavor. The plant and leaves were smaller than regular basil, but thrived (in my cold frame -- cold early summer nights stunt basil in my area). The only complaint is I think the flavor got a little grassy later on in the season -- the smaller leaves weren't a problem, but produced less overall than say, a genovese basil.
