This variety started out being a very prolific and tasty cucumber. However, something happened (Different theories abound as to why..) but they turned VERY bitter and subsequent specimens were the same. I sell at a Farmers Market and had to throw out everything from approximately August 1st. If you want to try this variety, make sure you taste them frequently. Like I said, until the bitterness occurred, they were delicious. I have since traded this white variety for a chinese cucumber called 'Stallion White' and have had no problems with it.
