I grew this variety in 2005 for the first time growing celery and I was really impressed. Seeds germinated in less then 7 days and I transplanted in November-December. I had celery by March-April. Beautiful, tender apple green stalks and of medium size. Plants are a little smaller than the type in the supermarkets, but the flavor makes up for it. Once established, plants are not fussy and can grow with ample water and little care. Definitely worth growing.
