This was my first year for this onion. I started it from seed on April 22. Kept it under row cover for about 11/2 month. I was able to harvest from mid to late September. The size was quite variable, but there were many very good sized bulbs. I ascribe this mostly to my lack of experience with growing onions from seed. It's only the third year I've tried it. I just got them into storage today, and, so far, they look like they will keep until late spring.
