Yellow Cippolini do very well and are so pretty. I had some as big around as a Walla Walla only flat. Very nice braided.

I grew these from seed then transplanted them to a less than ideal shady location. I think more sun would have helped the yield alot. Even with shade I got cute little onions that were perfect for roasting. They were about 1 to 2 inches across. The leaves dried out easily meaning they stored well for several months.

Started these from seed and had an acceptiable yeild. The growth died back early, and i may not have given them the ideal conditions.
