A good producer of of 20 -25 lb melons under my conditions. Taste and texture are good. It has two disadvantages: 1. It goes from ripe to over ripe in a matter of days. Over ripe results in watery mushy centers. Very good when picked at the proper time and eaten immediately, but very poor holding qualities. 2. It has a thin rind and a propensity to split in the field under stressful conditions.
